The systems at Intellej function within every rule established by the Sri Lankan National Lottery Board (NLB) through a direct legal association with the NLB. The BigWin platform users owe their duties and responsibilities to Intellej and no such obligations extend to the NLB. The Companies Act No. 7 of 2007 officially registers Intellej through its Registration Number PV 00234663.
1. Registration and Eligibility
To sign up and play BigWin's online lottery, you ought to meet the following criteria:
1.1 Age Requirement
You must be 18 years old or older. This is in accordance with legal laws governing gambling activities in Sri Lanka. Upon registration, you confirm that you are of this age.
1.2 Citizenship
Available only to Sri Lankan citizens, online registration and entry into BigWin's lottery are offered. Proof of citizenship can be required while registering to confirm eligibility.
1.3 Identification
A valid National Identity Card (NIC) or passport is mandatory for registration. This measure ensures that all participants are verified and legitimate, maintaining the integrity of our platform.
1.4 Mobile Connection
Your mobile connection should be registered with your NIC or passport. This is important for receiving critical notifications and for authenticating your identity. Proper registration of your mobile connection enables us to deliver a secure and stable service.
Note that registrations not meeting these conditions will be invalid or unprocessed. It is your responsibility to verify that all information submitted upon registration is correct and current.
2. Purchasing Lottery Tickets
BigWin provides different simple means to purchase lottery tickets, ensuring a hassle-free and pleasant process for all stakeholders:

2.1 Buy Now
This option allows you to purchase tickets at one time for entry into future draws. It is the quickest means of obtaining your entry and being part of the fun.
2.2 Browse and Select
In this process, you have the choice of picking your preferred lottery numbers from the pool of numbers available. With this option, you are allowed to make your entries according to your desire, adding a personal touch to your lottery.
2.3 Subscription Plan
BigWin offers you a subscription plan under which you subscribe for up to four weeks. The scheme includes an optional "Automatic Renewal" option, which keeps you rolling without the inconvenience of frequent manual purchases. The renewal is OTP authorized, and there should be a sufficient balance in your BigWin Wallet or mobile account to facilitate renewal.
Important: The number of available tickets is based on the total issued by the Lotteries Board. Charges will only apply to the tickets assigned to you. There’s actually no limit from NLB. The limitation arises because we have to pre-order tickets. Once all the pre-ordered tickets are sold, we won’t have any left to upload to the system, which is why availability may be limited.
3. Payment Methods
BigWin provides secure payment options to ensure a smooth and convenient experience for all users:
3.1 BigWin Wallet
You can fund your BigWin Wallet using bank cards or transfer your wins into your wallet directly. The option makes it easy to keep your money on the platform, with a hassle-free method to engage in the lottery.
3.2 Add to Bill
For postpaid mobile users, BigWin has the option of adding the cost of lottery tickets to your mobile bill. It is a convenient option for those who prefer to club their expenditure into a single bill.
3.3 Credit/Debit Cards
You can safely pay using your credit or debit card. Payments are encrypted, so your financial information is always protected, giving you peace of mind for every purchase.
Additional Fees:
- Rs. 7 + tax per ticket for "Add to Bill" payments: This fee covers the administrative costs associated with processing mobile bill payments.
- No fees for payments via the BigWin Wallet: This encourages users to manage their funds efficiently within the platform, offering a cost-effective payment option.
4. Lottery Results and Winning Notifications
Stay updated on results and winnings through the following methods:
4.1 Results
Daily draw results are available in the "Results" section of our website. This page allows you to check your tickets against the latest winning numbers, so you can always be in the know regarding the outcome of each draw.
4.2 Winning Notification
Winners are alerted via SMS with ticket information, providing notification of wins. Additionally, winnings are also posted under the "My Tickets" > "Winnings" section on our website. This notifies you of any wins and enables you to easily track your winnings.
5. Prize Redemption
Prizes can be claimed through the following methods:
5.1 Small Prizes (LKR 40 - LKR 1,000)
These prizes are automatically credited to your BigWin Wallet. This allows for quick access to your winnings, which can be used for future ticket purchases or withdrawn as per your convenience.
5.2 Medium Prizes (LKR 1,001 - LKR 350,000)
These prizes are transferred to your bank account upon verification of identity and submission of winning ticket details. This serves to guarantee that your prizes are duly credited to your bank account, maintaining the integrity of prize awarding.
5.3 Large Prizes (Above LKR 350,000)
To claim big prizes, you must appear in person at the NLB headquarters with your winning SMS notification and registered NIC or passport. This is for the purpose of verifying the identity of big prize winners and the legitimacy of claims.
Important: Prizes should be claimed within 30 days from the prize announcement. Unclaimed prizes can be forfeited. It is your duty to claim your prizes within the stipulated period.
6. General Terms and Conditions
6.1 Ticket Price
Normal tickets cost Rs. 40.00, including tax. Special draws might have varying pricing, which will be notified to participants in advance. Kindly refer to the pricing information prior to making a purchase.
6.2 Non-Refundable Tickets
Once purchased, tickets cannot be returned or refunded. Please ensure you are certain about your purchases before confirming them, as all sales are final.
6.3 Prize Claim Requirements
For prizes above LKR 1,000, proof of identity and ticket details are required for processing. This measure ensures that prizes are awarded to the rightful winners, maintaining the fairness and integrity of the lottery.
6.4 Bank Transaction Fees
Any tax and charges that may be imposed are charged subject to your bank charges. They are not discretionary BigWin charges but are usual bank charges levied on payments.
6.5 Government Taxes
All transactions, purchases, and winnings are taxed by the government. BigWin complies with all applicable tax laws to ensure that all financial transactions are conducted legally and transparently.
6.6 SMS Notifications
Do not lose your winning SMS until you receive the prize, as it may be required for verification. This will ensure that you have the necessary documents to claim your prize without any issues.
